Owl Station
The exhibit dedicated to the Eagle Owl, a poorly known species with an important ecological role, was created by Fondation Grand Paradis as part of the Interreg PACTA - Promouvoir l'Action Culturelle en Territoire Alpin project.
The immersive-emotional station tells us about the habits and history of this nocturnal bird of prey that has always stimulated the collective imagination. Long hunted by man, the Eagle Owl is to this day protected by national and international regulations, strictly observed in the territory of the Gran Paradiso National Park. Visitors find themselves immersed in the habitat of our forests' most silent predator thanks to a multimedia exhibit in which images interact with the taxidermied specimen, whose discovery is also recounted.
